Mir war, als wäre ich in ein Paralleluniversum angesichts einiger Bewertungen unten geraten. Basierend auf den Bewertungen habe ich reserviert, und als ich um 4:30 Uhr ankomme und an die Haustür klopfe, ist sie abgesperrt und es reagiert niemand. Ich gehe um die Rückseite herum, Pilger warten dort, man hat ihnen gesagt, dass es erst um 19 Uhr öffnet. Bizarr, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Besitzer dieser wartenden Gruppe viele Snacks und Getränke hätte verkaufen können – ich begann zu vermuten, dass er Pilger oder Geld nicht mag. Um 19 Uhr öffnet er die Tür und beschimpft mich sofort heftig dafür, dass ich vorher an seiner Tür geklopft habe. Er wusste, dass ich es war, was bedeutet, dass er gehört und gesehen hat und ignoriert hat. Das Gegenteil meiner Erfahrung über fünf Caminos und 100+ Herbergen – ich bin noch nie auf so etwas gestoßen. Ich unterdrückte meinen Drang, zu argumentieren, dass Klopfen, wenn man eine Reservierung hat, etwas Normales ist, und entschuldigte mich stattdessen. Dann versuchte ich, eine Frage zum Essen zu stellen, aber er bestand – wiederholt und sehr unhöflich – darauf, dass ich erst bezahle, bevor er irgendwelche Fragen beantwortet. Schließlich sagte er: "Möchten Sie einchecken oder nicht". Die Antwort war einfach – ich bin gegangen, ohne zu wissen, wohin ich angesichts der späten Stunde gehen würde, aber es hat sich gut ergeben. Ich empfehle Pilgern dringend, ihre Reiseroute so zu planen, dass sie diesen Kerl vermeiden – schlechtester Herbergero aller Zeiten – seine Fähigkeiten würden besser im spanischen Gefängnissystem eingesetzt.

What a wonderful experience in an “off schedule” and quaint small village. The hosts are among the most welcoming of my more than 600km on the Norte. Small Taberna/restaurante attached to the albergue. Clothes washed and dried by the hostess for just €6. Albergue was €14 and mid afternoon meal was just less than €10. Highly recommended!

Fabulous host and loved the albergue up in the hills. Had a lovely swim in the pool, looking out to mountains. Food at the bar and sleeping space and bathrooms are well thought out. It was a really peaceful stay.

The albergue is very clean and has 2 microwaves if you need to heat things brought from preceding town! Laundry was done and food / atmosphere was great! Crystal clear pool but in October boot for us! Still looking for a hot tub!

We stayed overnight at this albergue on July 18th. Everything is clean and tidy, the garden and pool are amazing. The restaurant has very good prices and offers breakfast (8am), but in the evening we asked to make sandwiches for us so that we could leave out early in the morning and eat on the way. The owner tried very hard to help with everything. He can't be nice, his nature is different, but he tries very hard 😄

This is a very comfortable alberrgue in a rustic setting. The proprietor was welcoming and the food was good. Recommend.

I stayed here in April. Although in the night it became a little cold, I enjoyed my stay here, especially because of the garden with a really nice view. Small kitchen only with a kettle and a microwave. I didn’t eat in the bar, only had a coffee there the next morning. It’s a simple albergue, but I somehow liked it!

Came to this Albergue an hour before opening in the pouring rain. Asked to used the bueno and was turned away. Horrible. That’s not the peregrino spirit. Did I mention it was in the pouring rain? So now we had to go in the field IN THE POURING RAIN. SHAMEFUL.

I was the only one and I don't unverstand that not more people stop over here.
It is nice, clean and the people were very friendly. The dinner was delicious.
