Sergio was incredibly gracious. Having walked in the heat a long way, I was welcomed with a kind smile and a delicious cold beer. Wonderful dinner, great communal time, and generous hospitality. To be farewelled with a hug was a genuine treat. Highlight of the Norte so far

Don't come here, if you do your current Camino in the opposite direction without having been in Santiago first. Or if you didn't get a stamp on one day. Or if you extended your pilgrimage on the Camino Norte, because the weather conditions of a nearby camino are bad for 1 week.

You will be asked questions about your pilgrimage in a harsh and rude way. After answering him, the owner may allege you to lie, as he did to me, even if everything you said was true. The owner does not speak good English, so it's even more difficult for you to handle the situation if you don't speak Spanish very well.

The owner called other pilgrims "bad pilgrims" towards them. So the owner only welcomes you and is kind to you if you follow his own philosophy.

I went end september 2024, and i must say this is and amazing albergue! The host is so nice and so are the vibes and services at the albergue such as: he washes your clothes from the day, he even folded it! And prepares a very nice t paella for everyone and he joined the pilgrims for the dinner. 10/10 ❤️

This is a well run albergue that is owned and run by Sergio and volunteers. The beds are comfortable, showers are hot, toilets clean. The prepared communal meal at night was tasty and plentiful. If you get in before 5pm your days clothes gets washed and dried and beautifully folded. Each bed has its own plug and shelf. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. This a great albergue.

I had a wonderful experience at this albergue and would definitely visit again. Sergio, Elena, and Eugenio are wonderful people. The albergue is clean, well-organized, and shows attention to details that are much appreciated by pilgrims. Additionally, the hosts are charming, generous, and engaging, truly representing the spirit of the Camino. Highly recommend without reservation.
