10 km fra Morille passerer caminoen i nærheden af landsbyen Miranda de Azán (bar), den ligger 300 m ude af vejen, men er det eneste stop mellem her og forstæderne til Salamanca.

Når du nærmer dig Salamanca, vil du krydse under to motorveje, hvoraf den anden markerer indgangen til de udviklede forstæder. Caminoen når en rundkørsel og fortsætter lige igennem den for at komme ind i en park med en fodgængersti. Den følger et lille vandløb og undgår de asfalterede veje, indtil den lige efter passerer under en jernbanebro. Ved vejen drejer den til højre og fortsætter ligeud mod og over Río Tormes (18,7 km) via Puente Romano. Den følger en sti gennem hjertet af Salamanca.

Camino de Sant… (ikke efterprøvet)

Having previously walked the main route(yellow dots) I today walked the alternative route as it was a wet miserable day and I wanted to stay off high ground. The main route climbs high and has wonderful panoramic views if the weather is good. The alternative route is mostly on quiet (in November) secondary roads not motorway as previously stated but apart from being slightly shorter hasn’t anything else in its favour. And yes the pig farm smells just as disgusting at this time of year! K

Camino de Sant…

I would advise to everyone to just take the original route from Fuenterroble to Morille, it maybe a bit longer but I’m sure it is much more pleasant.
On the detour there was a time (out of Pedrosillo) when I had to trespass on someone’s property because the map showed me that way (and there were no other way). Also between Pedrosillo and Monterrubio there is a pig slaughter house next to the way. You can hear them crying and also the smell… there are containers next the the road as well with dead pigs in it. From Pedrosillo to Morille all the camino way is on a motorway where the cars are coming from both ways. Overall it is a horrible experience from Pedrosillo to Morille.

Camino de Sant…

The municipal hostal is open, but it was not easy to find, it was not where the map shows it. It is near the Plaza de la Constitucion, by the stream. You get the key and pay at Bar Marcos, which is close by.
