århundrede, som engang stod her.

Notice

Ud over automater er der ingen steder at købe mad mellem her og Lugo, en afstand på 21 km. Pak en madpakke.

The Road

O Camino cafe and bar on the right side in the village had a very nice menu for 12 euros. It starts around 19:30.. Different every day. A lot of food and tasty and vino tinto better than normal.
From the outside it didn't look they would serve food.

If you follow the Camino you will miss a cafe on the main road through town. O Camino.

Camino de Sant… (ikke efterprøvet)

The quality of our accommodation on the Primitivo has been outstanding, but this place tops the lot and is by far the best we have experienced. This is a rural farmstead in an old stone building with an albergue that has some private rooms and a dorm split over two levels. The bunks have storage and privacy curtains, cotton sheets and blankets. The old stone walls are adorned with art and the kitchen is very well designed with tables and a range cooker, all new, modern and immaculate. There is a garden out the back where you can relax on a sunlounger or swing in a hammock watching the cows in the adjacent paddock with no sounds other than the gentle breeze and the occasional farm animal. This is a 5 star albergue and is really a very special place. You won’t regret staying here. If you don’t fancy the 30km stretch from O Cadavo to Lugo it makes for a great halfway stage and a restful afternoon. Bliss!

There is a cafe next to the albergue in Vilar de Cas. Drinks like coffee, tea, soda, and beer. There were also empanadas (meat, tuna, and apple).

Camino de Sant…

It is not in Castro Verde but halfway between CastroVerde and Lugo. It is brand new and I have heard excellent reports from pilgrims about superb accommodation, fantastic hosts and very good food

Camino de Sant…

Albergue Pocina de Muniz - new, very good reports and food and coffee available at the bar outside
