The Road

Caminoen mellem her og Ledigos, en strækning på 6,2 km, har flere omveje. En stor stenmarkør i udkanten af byen angiver de mulige ruter forude. Disse variationer vil føre dig længere ind i bjergskråningen og væk fra vejen. De fleste mødes kort før Ledigos, men den, der holder længst til venstre/vest (kendt som Palomares-ruten på grund af antallet af dueslag undervejs), går uden om både Ledigo og Teradilllos og er den korteste rute til Moratinos.

Monica, at 200 Calle Mayor, gives great 25 Euro 1 hour massages. She has a sign out and also a sign as you enter town.

Camino de Sant…

We took the Palomares Route but if we hadn’t been tracking ourselves on this app we would have been lost, NO markings however it was so WORTH it! You don’t feel like it’s shorter at all until after Ledigos. Peaceful freedom in the hillside, wow take the alt but check on this app to make sure not to get lost!

Camino de Sant…

The alternate route leaving Calzadilla takes you away from the highway and is quite lovely walking thru the fields.

Camino de Sant…

Last year I stayed in the municipal Alberque, which was one of the nicer Municipals. This year, of course they are closed so we decided to stay in the Hostel Real Camino. The room was ckean and beds comfortable and the bar downstairs serves very reasonable priced drinks but the top marks go to the staff and food. Truly some of the most delicious food ive had on the Camino. The staff can not be more helpful and hand on heart i can say, great place to stay.
