The Road

Caminoen vil snart bringe dig inden for synsvidde af Portomarín. Du kommer også gennem byen Vilachá, før du begynder den ret stejle nedstigning i río Miños dal og over den moderne bro til Portomarín.

Caminoen ind til byen passerer over den nye bro. Den gamle bro ligger det meste af tiden under floden, men i slutningen af sommeren kommer den frem, når vandstanden falder. Op ad trapperne og gennem det lille kapel er du næsten inde i byen. Det er stadig en smule op ad bakke.

There is a table laid out for tea and coffee. Fill the kettle with water and brew up. Donation tin provided. Wonderful!

I wanted to reserve a private room there yesterday for the end of May. I was only offered a room with dinner for €50 per person!! So the double room should cost 100€/night, a far cry from 47€. Then I decided not to make a reservation.

I had a great night here last night. The owners daughter prepared us a lovely dinner. She served and then joined us for dinner and shared in wonderful conversation. By far this was one of my favorite alberges.

Stayed here, you must paid 30€,it's including dinner, looks like very expensive, but when I reached here, every thing so amazing, you should stay here .
This alb is my favorite so far.

While still steep. It is paved and shorter. The original way is rocky and very steep.

I took the alternative path to portomsrin and it was also steep down then followed road to the bridge so I’m not sure there is much between the options!
