Caminoen drejer til højre og ind i Villavante, selvom nogle gamle gule pile fortsætter ligeud (malet på den forhøjede vandingskanal). Årsagen til omvejen rundt om byen er, at man skal undgå at krydse de farlige jernbanelinjer i udkanten af byen. Den ekstra afstand er den forhøjede krydsning værd, da togene passerer bedragerisk hurtigt.

I just passed through at 12 noon and there was nothing open. The fountain is flowing happily though.

Camino de Sant…

As recommended unless you are very agile I would walk over the railway bridge and turning left. There is no formal crossing here so you have to climb a stone embankment look for trains and walk swiftly across and down again. The Spanish ATV trains cover 1k in 11 seconds! I walked across but after I saw a train go by I would have walked around. So don’t stop to take a photo! You have been warned.

After stopping to rest on the fountain steps I turned the corner and as lovely little bakery was open selling treats and colas!
