Det er en lidt søvnig by, men den er velholdt og et godt sted at spise morgenmad, hvis man tager af sted fra Nájera om morgenen. Det kommunale albergue her er velindrettet, og alle værelser er dobbeltværelser.

The Road

Caminoen mellem Azofra og Cirueña går gennem Rioja Alta Golf Club, hvor pilgrimme betjenes sammen med golfspillere. Den går ikke længere gennem Cirueña, men passerer lige ved siden af den. Ciriñuela er dog blevet adskilt fra caminoen af et stort boligkompleks (der er stadig en bar, som betjener de lokale, og ejeren kan vise vej tilbage til caminoen, uden at du behøver at gå tilbage).

This is a great place to stop and relax especially if you prefer between stages, but just know there's currently no bus going through here if that is something you're looking for

The bar by the municipal albergue just around the corner really does have some of the tastiest tortilla I've had so far. The rest of the food is okay but really the tortilla was worth

Had a good stop in Azofra: the municipal albergue is wonderful: double rooms only, excellent facilities, and even a plunge pool to cool you down!
The town had two bars/restaurants open and a small but well stocked supermarket.

This cafe serves huge pieces of tortilla that are delicious. It also has lovely music playing. Very nice.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed here in April 2022. Each room has 2 beds and 2 closets. There is a full kitchen and laundry, with a nice sunny patio with clotheslines. There is only a small shop that sells some food, so you won’t be able to get too fancy with cooking unless you bring food from Najera. It was not very busy and is a good alternative if you can’t get a bed in Najera.
