Lille by med ikke meget andet end en kirke, en ermita og en truckstop-restaurant med ry for at servere god varm chokolade. Det eneste albergue i byen er også det første hus, du kommer til, og hospitaleros er vidunderlige.

History

Byen har fået sit navn fra den her fødte Francisco Delgado López, før det var den kendt som Villa de Pun. Francisco fungerede som biskop i både Jaén og Lugo og var en af de mest respekterede modreformatoriske teologer ved koncilet i Trient.

What a gem! Restful gardens in the back. Washing machine or hand wash. Fabulous clothesline across the road in the sunshine and breeze. Meal was delicious and homemade. Vegetable soup, stewed beef and boiled potatoes. Not fries.
The Albergue is so clean.
Highly recommend.

This albergue is so beautiful and clean. Restored house with nice bunks and bathrooms. Food is fantastic. The dining area and gardens are amazing! So peaceful, definitely worth a stop on the Camino.

Oh boy, what a wee gem this place is. Excellent hosts. Spotless rooms and beds. Beautiful garden out the back. An older house recently refurbished and updated. I could honestly stay a week. Highly, highly recommended.

What a warm welcome in a quiet village. The house was so beautiful and the rooms so clean and big, the garden was a picture and the food was delicious! Could not have staid at a nicer place.

Albergue Bidaluze is an oasis... A small and charming albergue managed by a lovely couple... The garden and ambiance is lovely... dinner was sumptuous.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Generous and delicious menú del día for 15 €. It’s 100 meters off the Camino across the highway. It was full of people (truckers, pilgrims, and locals) and yet the service was quick and smiling.

Absolutely recommendble: very friendly couple, super clean and nicely decorated, great food, excellent price/value. One of the best places I stayed on the Camino.

Andres and Isabel make you feel at home right away! Their home and garden make you want to stay longer! Dinner was delicious and filling! We rate this place “excelente!”
