Den skrevne historie om San Paio er gået tabt i tidens løb, men kirken her er dedikeret til San Paio (eller Payo), den 14-årige helgen, der blev kidnappet af de invaderende muslimske tropper, ført til Sevilla og til sidst martyrdræbt i småstykker og smidt i río Guadalquivir.

All Caminos App User (ikke efterprøvet)

This is not part of the hotel or Albergue A Fabrica! It’s a small 2 room space; 1 double bed & a very uncomfortable sofa bed; minimal cooking facilities & a shower room. There is a bread shop that sells some basic food items (milk, bread; dairy) but closes at 1.30pm.
We arrived late due to very bad weather and found the host to be quite rude! She insisted on us removing outer clothes before entering; including boots and to leave our walking poles outside. There are 2 places to eat but stop serving food about 9.30pm.
If the Alberque or hotel had space we would have checked there and left the ‘apartment’

There are two cute little cafe /bars in this town.
