OMVEJ FØR QUIROGA FOR AT BESØGE PILGRIMSHOSPITALET

I landsbyen Caspedro fører en afkørsel dig til det "monumentale kompleks" Quirogas pilgrimshospital, som ser ud til at ligge inden for en km eller to fra Caminoen. I Caspedro, lige før man når Quiroga, gik den gamle pilgrimsvej til den vigtige romanske kirke San Salvador. Andre monumenter på stedet omfatter Ridderhuset, en herregård fra det 16. århundrede, og Tower House Hospital, også fra det 16. århundrede. Hvis du tager denne omvej, så meld endelig tilbage!

Camino de Sant…

Took about an hour to return to the camino.
Nothing remains of the Casa Santa a Hospital. The is a church and some old houses including one perhaps owned by a French knight who had come to fight the Moors.
The immediate way back stops at some fields. Best to start back the same as coming and take the first road to the right. The rest of the detour track is okay.
