They give all their beds away for reservation! So real pilgrims that enjoy the adventure have no place here. She told me they’re not really on the Camino, instead just being honest and saying it’s about the money. Sad what the Camino has become. Old people shipping their bags to the next stop and reserving their whole trip

Great hostel right as you enter town. Drop your stuff off and go explore Astorga. Clean, very comfortable bunk beds. Great food and really accommodating hosts, who walked the Camino so they understand what you need. I was feeling under the weather when I arrived but much better after their care. So glad I stayed here!

One of the best so far. We had a private room for 3. Clean, comfortable, reverse cycle aircom, lots of hot water. Nice relaxing outdoor area with pool, which we didn’t use as still too cold but would be great in summer. Great communal dinner available with vegetarian option provided. Didour load of washing for 5euro. Host was very obliging and pleasant stay. Recommend highly. Bunk beds available.

Great albergue on the Camino just before you enter town, short walk to main shops and cathedral. Bunk beds are sturdy and comfy with fresh sheets, lamp and shelf right next to it. Dinner was 14 euro for 3 courses, very filling, and yes offers vegetarian.

This was a fantastic albergue very clean the staff was very helpful did my laundry for me
The communal meal was the best I had and just the camino we were given a menu to pick from it was delicious
Highly recommend!!

This is a newer Albergue & it’s very clean. Everyone who worked there was kind & helpful. It has a bar, laundry services and offers a pilgrim dinner. Also, it has a large outside area with a gorgeous garden. There is no curfew or lights turned on in the morning if you want more freedom to sleep in.

Great staff who truly care about the Camino experience! Bunks are close but not a problem; laundry service was great; evening meal was one of the best we’ve eaten on the Camino. A good deal and a restful night.
