Simpelt, komfortabelt og rent albergue med en fantastisk vært. Pedro er meget venlig og går langt for at sikre, at alle har det godt. Han efterlod også yoghurt til os om morgenen.

Moving past Astorga I ended up in this town and decided to stay in the municipal albergue, even though I read mixed reviews about it. When I arrived I was the only pilgrim in the place and was unsure if I should stay or not. But once I met Pedro, the lovely hospitalero, I was sold on staying. It is a basic but clean place, no kitchen and just two bathrooms (one for men and one for women). But the host goes out of his way to make you comfortable: he offers wide smiles (but he only speaks Spanish), serves you tea and biscuits, turns on the heating if needed and cooks a simple but filling vegetarian donativo meal for you. While doing so, he listens to classical music and it just fills the small building :) Altogether, I had a great stay here and a good night’s sleep on a comfy single bed (not bunks) made with proper linens. It might not be for everyone, but I loved this place!

Bar Felix opens at 7 and Bar Chris opens at 8.
We went to Bar Chris to order at 8:05 and they they old us it would be 5 more minutes.
We left and went to Bar Felix.
Very nice and attentive staff.😁

Alburgue was fine. Pedro is a nice host. We had dinner at casa felix down the road. Home cooked food and delicious.

Quiet, clean, lovely garden in the spring and summer, and a kind hospitalero. No kitchen, but head on down to the bar near the church for some authentic Italian pizza.

Worth the price :)
