I've stayed at this albergue two years in a row now and definitely recommend it. I find it to be a really comfortable place and the hospitalera is a really caring person even if she seems a little gruff on the outside. Running the albergue is a labor of love for her, I have no doubt.

The price for a bed and dinner was absurd, 28 euros for a bunk bed in a shared room. Dinner was a salad and chicken with tomatoes. The chicken was almost inedible. Only accepts cash as well. Not a great experience I would not recommend.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed here because Pozueta was fully booked. Nice and clean albergue with lovely hospitalera. No shops or restaurants around so only option is to have the menu that is being served. Salad was fine, but the ‘chicken in tomatosauce’ may very well have been dogfood :’).

My family found the owner to be so very kind and helpful. She went out of her way to help us in numerous ways. Her albuergue is quiet and very clean.

Camino de Sant…

Accommodation is very clean and comfortable, there is a kitchen so you can prepare your own food and a big outside space for relaxing. We bought breakfast and food for dinner (eggs, potatoes and salad) from the owner which felt a bit overpriced (€9 for the dinner items), but the only option as we hadn’t brought food in Markina, so we were grateful to have something!

Still open during covid with reduced capacity. Very clean place. Kitchen has microwave and fridge but no stove top. Host made an order for a pizza delivery for guests who did not bring dinner with them. August 2021
