Casa Rural La Casona de Doña Petra is a very high end accommodation for someone who normally stays in albergue dorms. It is a beautiful old building very modernized on the inside; there are 12 rooms. My room was comfortable. I had dinner here and it was basic but good. There are lovely sitting areas but wifi was weak or not working most of the time. In April 2026 I paid 60 for the room and 18 for dinner. I would stay again.

We agree with all previous comments. This place is worth a stop. Its more like a hotel. The owners attention to detail is unparalleled. We loved our room, the outdoor area and the meals were delicious

This is another well kept establishment. The room was very comfortable and the food was good. I really appreciated the hospitality of the staff and it was a pleasure to spend time in this small village. I had several great conversations with folks who live there and farm the land; in particular was a talk with a gentleman tending to his herd of sheep - the Camino mystic in the very essence of a simple life.

I had a great experience. Great room and bathroom. The hostess was very helpful and the pool was great!! The albergue that is close had a very friendly staff. I would highly recommend staying in this village.
