I didn't book and arrived at 15.30 and got a bed. I had a big and lovely welcome from Leonardo, the most positive, happy but also special and excentric man, who is confused and forgets things.
The bed cost 15 euro, but the pilgrims who booked on booking.com payed 22 euro for the same bed...
The albergue was so dirty everywhere. The worst I have seen on the Camino until now. Mould in the shower and also in the rooms by the windows. No trashcan in the room, only in the bathroom.
We didn't get sheets for the bed and the 'plastic' cover/surface on the mattress was peeled of and with holes.
The room were very small with 3 bunkbeds and almost no space to turn around...
Wahingmachine was cheep though - 3 euro and the dryer 2 euro.
Nice pilgrim dinner with homemade paella, salad, dessert, water and wine for 15 euro.
There were lots of locals coming to the bar og music was played until late at night...
There were no beeakfast next morning even though they had a breakfast menu - we left at 7.30 and all was closed and no staff... Maybe he was sleeping in because of the late party last night....
It was quite an experience but not worth the money.....

Hola! Lo siento pero ayer fue nuestra última noche con peregrinos. Ya no estamos abiertos.

I’m sorry but last night was the last night we had pilgrims. The albergue is no longer open due to end of contract negotiations.

Also note casa las almas closes on mondays

Abundant and very good food, worth a pit stop even if you don’t stay. I refused the albergue breakfast but instead went downstairs and paid for a fantastic breakfast of my choice (and the price was similar). Highly recommend I

The owner was very friendly and helpful, but the place is too small for the number of beds - my room had very little space between 3 double bunks. No hot water in the showers - they fixed it afterwards but we had cold showers. However, the dinner was delicious but the breakfast consisted of a small piece of cake, a coffee or tea and a small tub of yogurt. Overall I have to say that I was disappointed, especially at the price.

This simple albergue punches above its weight. Run by a couple who are charming & delightful. Do not forego the pilgrims meal. It was quite possibly the best meal I’ve had.

Delightful husband and wife team; he cooks dinner, she cooks breakfast. He was the chef for the Spanish ambassador to the US some time ago, so they both speak English and the food is outstanding.
